These are pictures I took to give you an idea of what the horse camp looks like.  I thought it would be nice to know what to expect in case you are planning a trip.

It is a pretty nice camp with bathrooms & showers.  There are covered stalls and open stalls.  I'm told they now have hookups for trailers!!  Cool!
The rangers who worked the area were more than accommodating.  Hats off to Grayson Highlands State Park and the great state of Virginia, we thoroughly enjoyed our week and we know you would love it there, too.  It's really beautiful.  The gorgeous trails and the balds on the mountains give it a touch of Wyoming, E. of the Mississippi.
