These are
some pictures from March 11, 2007 while taking a ride in the
afternoon from Cherokee Creek Horse Camp at Fort Mountain State Park.
We just rode about 7-8 miles and in that short ride we passed several historic, abandoned Talc Mines. It was great riding on wide trails, some were steep & rocky at times, but truly a fine place to ride & camp year round. If you have a opportunity to visit Fort Mountain State Park outside Chatsworth, Georgia, don't miss the chance. It is very similar to riding in the Smokies and Cherokee Creek Horsecamp has electric & water hookups & a barn or high lines for your horses! Come and experience Fort Mtn. State Park!
